Alrighty then...today was my first official day as an intern here at RIT. We started the morning off with our daily meeting, which I of course was late to (RIT time is ahead of normal time), basically Bob and Joe gave us the quick run down of our day. We went to the red barn, did a bunch of "ice-breaker" activities. Then we went to lunch at crossroads, had a pretty decent quesadilla. Next a couple undergrads took us on a tour of basically the entire campus...good times there. Came back to Carlson, met with Jake and other astronomers, found out what kind of projects they're working on. Jake assigned us our projects (basically), downloaded "putty" and "Xming" on the laptops(took forever) and then essentially hung out for 20 minutes. Now we've got our 5 o'clock meeting with everyone else upstairs.
